The continental market returns to Lowestoft!

The continental market made a welcome return to Lowestoft this Easter bank holiday weekend with around 15 stalls lined up in the town offering food and crafts from around the world.

The event was organised by Lowestoft Vision - the Business Improvement District for Lowestoft for which Steel and Co's managing director, Danny Steel is a board member.

"Featuring a range of traders of international origin with a diverse mix of food and craft options, expect to find tasty street food options, tempting sweet treats and a range of authentic craft offerings."

As well as the stalls themselves, background recorded music of continental instruments and sounds played to add to the experience.

Stalls included noodles, fudge, Jamaican (Jerk Chicken), Tunisian crafts, German sausage (Wurst), Spanish churros, Turkish pastries and desserts (Baklava), olives, Italian biscuits, crafts, toys, clothes and jewellery.

Visitors to the event described the town as "buzzing" as the town saw an increase in visitors coming to enjoy the market, good weather and try some culinary delights!
